FAQ: Questions We Get Asked A Lot

Cleaning can mean something different to so many people. One person thinks "clean" means they vacuum once a month. Once person things "clean" means the house is empty. And one person thinks "clean" means you could eat off the floor.


We happen to fall into the "You could eat off the floor" category - and we think every house should too.





Without further ado, here are the most frequently asked questions:


1) Why won't you clean my AirBNB / VRBO / Vacation Home? First - There's stuff inside. Secondly - There's stuff within the stuff. Back in my younger days, I worked as a temporary receptionist at a hotel. While checking in and checking out guests wasn't an issue, when the work piled up, I needed to help with the laundry. And let's just say that some people use the sheets more than others. That was a lot to stomach, and I'm not sure I'm ready to go down that path again.


2) What if the movers haven't come yet, and I still have boxes inside the house? For the best possible service, we recommend having all personal items out of the home. That's totally up to you - but we are not prepared to lift or move any items - including boxes. If it's in the house, we will simply clean around the item.


3) How do you get in my home? That's totally up to you! We feel comfortable entering your home with a garage code, key pad on the door, or if you leave a key for us to use. We will send you a confirmation message when we arrive - and when the home has been securely locked again.


4) Should you come watch us work? Oh, please don't. We usually have on headphones and listen to music or a podcast while we work. Depending on stains or the surfaces we encounter, we may need to let our cleaning solution soak for a while - which can cause hazardous, slippery surfaces.


And if that wasn't enough, we also have a cleaning system worked out. And not being distracted while we clean is very important.


5) Are your cleaning products really Nontoxic, No Fumes or Harsh Fragrances, Biodegradable Ingredients, and Sustainably Sourced? Absolutely! We really care about the types of products we use to clean. In fact, these are the exact same products we use in our personal home.


6) Can you use my cleaning supplies? Thanks for offering, but no. Cleaning at a workout pace can be very challenging - especially with harsh fumes and chemicals are sprayed in the air. The keep each of our cleaners safe, we use specially chosen products to keep everyone safe and happy.


7) Will you really call me if the house is super dirty? Oh yes, we will definitely call you ASAP. Just like you, we can't work for free. Even if a service was booked with good intentions, if the house is beyond our capabilities, we want to make sure everyone is on the same page, and has realistic expectations.


8) I don't see an â la carte service? How do I contact you about something more? Our â la carte service list is pretty short and manageable for us. But if you're looking for something specific, we're always open to discussing more requests.


9) Do you post the before and after photos online or on social media? Not unless you give us permission. Moving can be such a stressful experience for people. We understand that everyone is coming from different walks of life. A mom of young kids won't have much time to clean (let alone eat warm meals)... And elderly person might not have the mobility they once did... A career driven couple might not have the free time to spend cleaning their home... And a traveling business person might not even be in the same state for more than a weekend.


At the end of the day, we're not here to shame anyone - the seller or the buyers. For the sake of everyone's reputation, we typically do not post before an after photos on our website or facebook page.


10) Your cleaning products smell AMAZING! Can I buy them? For sure! Let us know what you love, and we'll get you a bottle delivered to your home.
