But I Won't Do That - No, I Won't Do That

I mean, who doesn't love an opportunity to earn some cash?

*Raises Hand*

But here's the honest and simple answer about why we don't clean while you're still living in the home.

Our insurance doesn't cover your stuff.

Our business model is designed to be quick and efficient. Trying to dust around porcelain figurines, finding dirty undies in the bedroom, or scrubbing off pasta sauce from last night's sauce pan - that's not what we're about.

Walking into an empty house is an amazing feeling. Even though things aren't clean when we walk in - it's so much easier cleaning an empty room.

Empty rooms allow us to focus on the actual needs of the home - and not waste time cleaning the stuff inside the house (you know - the stuff that you're going to pack anyway).

Once the couch is moved, the area rug is rolled away, and the stove is pulled out - we are your dust bunny, stain fighting, grease eliminators!

"Woah. Hold on. I thought you did item removal too? Will you still help me get rid of my extra stuff?"

Oh yes. We can absolutely do that!

When we are hired to remove items, we're not worried about someone seeking compensation if an item were to be damaged in transport. Most of the time, items we remove from homes are donated to our local thrift stores. Our goal is not to fill our personal home - but instead to bless the community with low cost options when furnishing their own homes.

Even better? We try to use our local thrift stores on a rotating basis - so everyone feels the love.

Even better than that?! We want to ensure we are passing along good, quality pieces of furniture. Taking care of items during transport is important - but we feel at ease knowing that if something is accidentally dented or dinged - the thrift store can still find a use for it.

Some thrift stores are limited by the items they do and do not take. If there is something that can not be donated - we will work hard to make sure the item can be used by someone else - or that the item is sustainably disposed.

"Nice, nice. But can you sell my stuff?"

If life had a guarantee - yes, we would sell the items you can't take with. Selling second hand items can be very unpredictable. We're not able to send you a check or refund for the profits.

However, we would be happy to donate 10% of the profits to an amazing company called Samaritan's Purse. We love this company because 85% of donations are used to benefit U.S. Disasters, Veteran needs, International Crisis Response - plus so much more! The other 15% of donations are just about split down the middle with administrative costs and advertising for fundraising.

Chances are - you're already heard of this orginization! Samaritan's Purse is the same company who started Operation Christmas Child - these are small, shoe boxes for children who would otherwise go without a gift at Christmas time.

And that's it! When your personal items are moved out of your home, we are more than happy to come and clean.
